Galaxy Tab A8 has a general score of 62.6, which is just a bit better than the Google Nexus 7's overall score of 59.3. Galaxy Tab A8 is a a lot newer and incredibly thinner tablet device than the Google Nexus 7, although it's also much heavier. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A8 has a more recent 11 version and Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version, providing you some nice extra features and better performance.

The Google Nexus 7 features a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has a way smaller display and a lot worse 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels amount in each inch of display. The Google Nexus 7 counts with a very superior performance than Galaxy Tab A8, because although it has less processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
