The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has an overall score of 77.5, which is way better than Google Nexus 7's 59.3 general score. Both tablets in this review use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version, counting with some additional features. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro's design is much newer and just a little bit thinner than the Google Nexus 7's, although it is much heavier.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a bit faster processing unit than Google Nexus 7, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM and a larger number of cores. Google Nexus 7 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, although it has a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280, a much smaller display and a just a bit less pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Google Nexus 7, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a really longer battery life than Google Nexus 7, because it has 7600mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro captures greater photographs and videos than Google Nexus 7.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Nexus 7. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, else you can save some dollars and buy the Google Nexus 7, giving up some specs and features.
