Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a global score of 65.3, which is better than the Google Nexus 7's 59.3 overall score. Samsung Galaxy View 2's design is way newer than the Google Nexus 7's, although it is way thicker and way heavier. Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy View 2 has a newer 8.1 Oreo version while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version.
Google Nexus 7 counts with a way better looking screen than Galaxy View 2, because although it has a way smaller display and a lot lower 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a much greater quantity of pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy View 2 counts with much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Google Nexus 7, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy View 2 features a bit faster processor than Google Nexus 7, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and faster) and 2 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy View 2 shoots way better videos and photos than Google Nexus 7.
The Galaxy View 2 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 7, because it has a 12000mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Nexus 7. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy View 2, else you can save some money and get the Google Nexus 7, giving up some specifications.
