Google Nexus 7 has a general score of 59.3, which is a bit better than the Xperia Tablet S's score of 58.9. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 7 has the newer 5.1 version and Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version, giving lots of additional features. Google Nexus 7 is a thinner and way lighter tablet than the Xperia Tablet S, even when both were released only 2 months apart.
The Google Nexus 7 features a much better screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with more pixels per inch of display. Xperia Tablet S has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Google Nexus 7, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xperia Tablet S features a processor that is just as good as the processor in Google Nexus 7, they have a 1 GB RAM, a 416 MHz graphics processor and a Quad-Core processor. The Google Nexus 7 has a superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Tablet S. The Xperia Tablet S takes much better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 7.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, Google Nexus 7 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it a great choice.
