The iPad mini 2 has an overall score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than the Google Nexus 9's 74.5 score. The iPad mini 2 counts with iOS 8.x OS, while Google Nexus 9 counts with Android 5.0 OS. Although iPad mini 2 is older than Google Nexus 9, it's body is just a bit thinner and incredibly lighter.
Google Nexus 9 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Apple iPad mini 2, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have a 64 bits processing unit and a Dual-Core processing unit, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with 1 GB more RAM. Apple iPad mini 2 counts with a bit better looking display than Google Nexus 9, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1536 x 2048 resolution, the Apple iPad mini 2 also counts with a just a bit higher pixel density.
The Apple iPad mini 2 has a superior memory for apps and games than Google Nexus 9, because it has 128 GB internal memory.
