Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is slightly better than the Google Nexus 9, having a general score of 75.8 against 74.5. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the previous 4.4.2 version while Google Nexus 9 has Android 5.0. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s design has the same thickness than the Google Nexus 9, but it's much heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a screen that's just as good as the display in Google Nexus 9, although the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a slightly higher 1600 x 2560 resolution, a bit larger display and a quite better display density. Google Nexus 9 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has a lower amount of RAM, 2 less processing cores and doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a 64-bits processor.

The Google Nexus 9 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014). Both of them have the same resolution camera, the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 64 GB.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has superior battery life than Google Nexus 9, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity against 6700mAh.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Nexus 9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Nexus 9. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), otherwise you can save some money and buy the Google Nexus 9, resigning some features and specifications.
