Google Nexus 9 has a global score of 74.5, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s 68.3 score. Despite of the fact the Google Nexus 9 is noticeably older and heavier than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), it's design is still somewhat thinner. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Google Nexus 9 has older 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo.

Google Nexus 9 has a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster), and they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a 64-bit CPU. Google Nexus 9 features a way better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a way better 2048 x 1536px resolution, a way greater screen density and a quite larger screen.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a superior camera than Google Nexus 9, because although it has a way less mega pixels back facing camera and a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 400 GB.

The Google Nexus 9 has longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has 6700mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Google Nexus 9 is also cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), making it a very good choice.
