Comparison review
The Google Nexus 9 is way better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, getting a score of 74.5 against 57.6. These tablets come with Android operating system, but Google Nexus 9 has an older 5.0 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Google Nexus 9 design has the same thickness than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's a lot heavier.
Google Nexus 9 has a little faster CPU than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has lesser cores (although faster) and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit. Google Nexus 9 features a brighter screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen, a quite better 2048 x 1536px resolution and a bit bigger display.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a quite bigger memory to install games and applications than Google Nexus 9, because although it has just 16 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD captures better photos and videos than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the same video frame rates and a back facing camera with an 8 MP resolution, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better photos in low light situations.
The Google Nexus 9 counts with greater battery lifetime than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a 31% more battery size.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, the Google Nexus 9 is also cheap compared to the other tablet.
