Google Pixel C has a global score of 59.4, which is slightly better than the Google Nexus 7's score of 59.3. Google Pixel C's design is extremely newer and noticeably thinner than Google Nexus 7's, but it is also noticeably heavier. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Google Pixel C has newer 6.0 version while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version, offering lots of additional features.
Google Nexus 7 features a much greater hardware performance than Google Pixel C, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores. Google Pixel C has a sharper screen than Google Nexus 7, because it has a much better 1800 x 2560 resolution, more pixels per screen inch and a way bigger display.
The Google Pixel C features a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Nexus 7, because it has 64 GB internal storage. Google Nexus 7 features a superior battery life than Google Pixel C. The Google Pixel C features a greater camera than Google Nexus 7.
Although Google Pixel C is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Nexus 7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel C, else you can save some money and get the Google Nexus 7, giving up some features and specs.
