Comparison review
The Google Pixel C is slightly better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a 59.4 score against 57.6. Both tablets we are comparing come with Android OS (Operating System), but Google Pixel C has the previous 6.0 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Google Pixel C construction is a bit thinner than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it is notably heavier and was released about 14 months before.
The Google Pixel C counts with a lot better looking display than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a little bit better number of pixels per inch in the display, a much better resolution of 1800 x 2560 and a bigger screen. Google Pixel C has a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a really superior performance than Google Pixel C, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a larger number of faster cores. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD shoots much better photographs and videos than Google Pixel C. Both have the same video frame rate, the same video quality and a 8 megapixels back camera.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a much longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel C.
Although Google Pixel C is a better device, it is way more expensive than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
