The Google Pixel Slate has a global score of 79.3, which is way better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s score of 59.7. The Google Pixel Slate body is incredibly thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it is incredibly heavier and was released just a bit over a year before. Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS OS, and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) works with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The Google Pixel Slate has a much better screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a way higher resolution of 3000 x 2000, a lot bigger display and a lot more pixels per inch in the screen. Google Pixel Slate features a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a little bit better processing power than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has 13 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores. The Google Pixel Slate features a greater camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a much better 1920x1080 video resolution and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a battery duration that is just as good as the Google Pixel Slate one.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), letting go some features and specs.
