Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Nexus 7 (2013). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Google Nexus 7 (2013), letting go some features and specs.
