The Google Pixel Slate has a general score of 79.3, which is much better than Lenovo ThinkPad 8's 64.2 general score. Google Pixel Slate's body is heavier but thinner than Lenovo ThinkPad 8. The Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS OS, and Lenovo ThinkPad 8 works with Windows 8.1 OS.
Lenovo ThinkPad 8 counts with a little faster processor than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with 2 more cpu cores. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 counts with a display that is very similar to the Google Pixel Slate one, although the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a much smaller screen and a bit less pixels per screen inch.
Google Pixel Slate takes a lot better photographs and videos than Lenovo ThinkPad 8. They have the same video frame rate, the same resolution camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. Google Pixel Slate has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Lenovo ThinkPad 8, resigning some specifications.
