Comparison review

The Google Pixel Slate is much better than the LG G Pad 8.3, getting a global score of 79.3 against 65.9. Google Pixel Slate's design is way newer and somewhat thinner than LG G Pad 8.3's, but it is heavier. The Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS operating system, and LG G Pad 8.3 counts with Android 4.4 operating system.

LG G Pad 8.3 has a bit sharper screen than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a just a bit lower screen density, a much lower 1200 x 1920 resolution and a really smaller display. The LG G Pad 8.3 features a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores.

Google Pixel Slate counts with a way bigger storage for apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Google Pixel Slate counts with just a bit better camera than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Google Pixel Slate also has a much larger aperture to capture better photos and videos in low light situations and a camera with a lot higher resolution.

LG G Pad 8.3 features a very superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel Slate.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG G Pad 8.3, letting go a couple features and specifications.
