Comparison review
Google Pixel Slate is much better than the Microsoft Surface 2, with a general score of 79.3 against 63.4. The Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS operating system, while Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 operating system. Google Pixel Slate's construction is newer and somewhat thinner than Microsoft Surface 2's, but it's a little bit heavier.
The Google Pixel Slate has just a bit better display than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has a much higher 3000 x 2000 resolution, a greater pixel number in each inch in the screen and a bigger display. Microsoft Surface 2 features a bit faster processor than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and also faster).
Google Pixel Slate features a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Google Pixel Slate also has a lot better resolution back facing camera. Google Pixel Slate features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage.
Microsoft Surface 2's battery lifetime is very similar to the Google Pixel Slate one.
The Google Pixel Slate costs a lot more money than the Microsoft Surface 2, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
