Google Pixel Slate has a general score of 79.3, which is much better than Microsoft Surface Go's 66.5 global score. The Google Pixel Slate body is heavier but thinner than Microsoft Surface Go, and both were only released with a few months difference. Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS operating system, and Microsoft Surface Go has Windows 10 operating system.

Google Pixel Slate has a sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Go, because it has a bigger screen, a better pixel density and a way higher 3000 x 2000 resolution. The Google Pixel Slate counts with a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Go, because it has 128 GB more internal memory.

Microsoft Surface Go features a processing unit that is very similar to the Google Pixel Slate one, and although the Microsoft Surface Go has 8 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Dual-Core processing unit.
