The Google Pixel Slate has a global score of 79.3, which is way better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2's general score of 65.1. Google Pixel Slate works with Chrome OS OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS. The Google Pixel Slate is a a lot newer tablet device, and it's also thinner and somewhat lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
The Google Pixel Slate counts with just a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a way higher 3000 x 2000 resolution, a better pixel number in each inch in the screen and a larger screen. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Google Pixel Slate, because it has more internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a processor that's very similar to the CPU in Google Pixel Slate, and although the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 2 CPU cores. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 and Google Pixel Slate both feature very similar battery durations. Google Pixel Slate takes much clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface Pro 2. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
