Comparison review

The Google Pixel Slate is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, having a 79.3 score against 72.2. The Google Pixel Slate design is notably newer, a little bit lighter and notably thinner than the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Google Pixel Slate works with Chrome OS operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3's CPU is just as good as the Google Pixel Slate one, and although the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Google Pixel Slate counts with a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because it has a higher 3000 x 2000 pixels resolution, a quite larger display and a greater pixel quantity per inch of screen.

Google Pixel Slate takes much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Google Pixel Slate also has a much more megapixels camera. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel Slate, because it has more internal storage capacity.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a battery duration that's very similar to the Google Pixel Slate one.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 3, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
