Google Pixel Slate is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, getting a general score of 79.3 against 68.7. The Google Pixel Slate construction is extremely newer and just a little thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's, but it's also extremely heavier. Google Pixel Slate works with Chrome OS OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with Android 4.2.2 OS.
Google Pixel Slate counts with a brighter display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a lot greater pixel amount per display inch, a really bigger screen and a much higher resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels. The Google Pixel Slate counts with a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has just a bit better performance than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has 14,5 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel Slate.
Google Pixel Slate features a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a much better (Full HD) video quality and a way more MP camera.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, resigning some features and specs.
