The Google Pixel Slate is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, having a score of 79.3 against 74.5. Google Pixel Slate's construction is a little bit thinner but noticeably heavier than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and both were released only a few months apart. Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS operating system, while Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
The Google Pixel Slate counts with a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because it has a bigger display, a much higher resolution of 3000 x 2000 and more pixels per display inch. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with more processing cores.
Google Pixel Slate has a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
