Google Pixel Slate has a global score of 79.3, which is better than the Galaxy Tab Active 2's global score of 70. The Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS OS, while Galaxy Tab Active 2 comes with Android 9.0 Pie OS. Although the Google Pixel Slate is incredibly heavier than Galaxy Tab Active 2, it's notably thinner and newer.
The Google Pixel Slate has a better display than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a lot higher screen density, a lot larger screen and a way higher resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels. Google Pixel Slate has a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has just a little better processing power than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with more CPU cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a much better battery life than Google Pixel Slate. The Google Pixel Slate captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Active 2. Both of them have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the same resolution camera and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab Active 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab Active 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab Active 2, giving up a couple specs and features.
