Comparison review
Google Pixel Slate is better than the Galaxy Tab Active, with a 79.3 score against 67. Although the Google Pixel Slate is noticeably heavier than the Galaxy Tab Active, it's thinner and also extremely newer. Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS operating system, and Galaxy Tab Active works with Android 4.4 operating system.
Google Pixel Slate features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has less cpu cores and doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM memory. Google Pixel Slate has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a much bigger screen, a way better screen pixels density and a much higher 3000 x 2000 resolution.
Google Pixel Slate has much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab Active has a much longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel Slate.
Google Pixel Slate shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a camera with a much higher 8 mega-pixels resolution and a much better 1920x1080 video definition.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, giving up some specifications.
