The Google Pixel Slate has an overall score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's 78.5 general score. Google Pixel Slate is a a lot newer tablet, and it is also a little thinner and just a little bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. The Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 comes with Android 4.4 OS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features just a bit better screen than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a bit smaller display, a quite lower 1600 x 2560 resolution and a quite worse pixel count in each inch in the display. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with just a bit better processing power than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU and 2 more cpu cores.

The Google Pixel Slate counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, they both have a back facing camera with an 8 megapixels and the same 1920x1080 video definition. Google Pixel Slate features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a superior battery duration than Google Pixel Slate.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, giving up a couple features and specs.
