The Google Pixel Slate has a score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5's general score of 74.3. The Google Pixel Slate is a notably newer device than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, but it is just a little bit thicker and noticeably heavier. Google Pixel Slate counts with Chrome OS OS, and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with Android 4.4.2 OS.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a slightly better screen than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a bit worse resolution of 1600 x 2560, a little bit less pixels per inch of display and a quite smaller screen. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a little better performance than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores.

The Google Pixel Slate counts with a much better storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage. Google Pixel Slate shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the same resolution camera in the back and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a superior battery life than Google Pixel Slate.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab S 10.5. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, resigning a couple specifications.
