The Google Pixel Slate is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, having a 79.3 score against 78.8. The Google Pixel Slate construction has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, but it is incredibly heavier. Google Pixel Slate counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, because it has a little higher pixels density, a higher resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels and a bigger screen.

Google Pixel Slate features a quite bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab S4, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab S4 counts with a little better performance than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores.

The Galaxy Tab S4 features a better camera than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing images and video in low-light situations, it also counts with a way higher (4K) video quality and a much higher resolution back facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab S4 features a much better battery lifetime than Google Pixel Slate.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab S4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab S4. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab S4, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
