The Google Pixel Slate is much better than the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, having a 79.3 score against 71.3. The Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS operating system, and Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact comes with Android 4.4 operating system. The Google Pixel Slate design is noticeably newer, but much heavier and somewhat thicker than the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.
Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact counts with a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a lot smaller display, a little bit worse screen density and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a superior CPU than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has 13 GB less RAM, it also counts with a graphics processing unit and 2 more processing cores.

So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, resigning some specs and features.
