Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has a score of 61.1, which is slightly better than the Google Nexus 7's 59.3 score. Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 is a newer and a lot thinner tablet than Google Nexus 7, although it is also extremely heavier. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has a newer 14 version while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 version.
The Google Nexus 7 features a very superior hardware performance than Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and also faster) and a graphics processing unit. The Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 counts with a brighter screen than Google Nexus 7, because it has a way higher resolution of 1920 x 3000px, a really bigger screen and a better amount of pixels per inch in the display.
The Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Google Nexus 7, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 takes much clearer videos and photos than Google Nexus 7. Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 features a much better battery performance than Google Nexus 7, because it has 10050mAh of battery capacity.
Although Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Nexus 7. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Nexus 7, giving up some features and specs.
