Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 69.2, which is much better than the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3's general score of 61.1. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 8.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has Android 14, offering a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations. Although Galaxy Note 8.0 is extremely older and notably thicker than Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, it's construction is still much lighter.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a much better performing processing unit than Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with 3 more cores and a GPU. Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has a much better looking display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a lot better 1920 x 3000 resolution, a really bigger display and a lot higher pixel count per screen inch.

The Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a camera with a much higher resolution. Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 counts with a superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 10050mAh battery capacity instead of 4600mAh.

Even being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
