Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is much better than the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, having a score of 68.3 against 61.1. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a incredibly older and a lot thicker device than Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, but Samsung made it incredibly lighter anyway. Both devices we are comparing include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has Android 14, counting with some extra features and a performance increase.
