Comparison review
The HP ProPad 600 is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia W510, with a 58.2 score against 57.5. Both tablets in this comparison include Windows OS (operating system), but HP ProPad 600 has the newer 8.1 version while Acer Iconia W510 has Windows 8 version. HP ProPad 600's design is newer than the Acer Iconia W510's, but it's heavier and somewhat thicker.
Acer Iconia W510's processing unit is very similar to the HP ProPad 600 one, because although the Acer Iconia W510 has lesser RAM memory and 2 lesser and slower CPU cores, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. HP ProPad 600 counts with a sharper display than Acer Iconia W510, and although they both have a display with the same size, the HP ProPad 600 also has a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a higher pixels count in each inch of screen.
The Acer Iconia W510 has a camera that is just as good as the camera in HP ProPad 600, both of them have a 8 MP camera. The HP ProPad 600 counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory.
HP ProPad 600 has a really longer battery lifetime than Acer Iconia W510, because it has an 8380mAh battery size.
Although HP ProPad 600 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia W510. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the HP ProPad 600, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Acer Iconia W510, resigning some specs and features.
