Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a global score of 61.4, which is just a bit better than the HP ProPad 600's 58.2 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) works with Android 4.1 operating system, while HP ProPad 600 comes with Windows 8.1 operating system. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is older than the HP ProPad 600, it's construction is just a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter.

HP ProPad 600 counts with a greater processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 3 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and also faster). HP ProPad 600 features a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a same size screen, the HP ProPad 600 also has a way better 1200 x 1920px resolution and a lot higher count of pixels per inch of display.

HP ProPad 600 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a lot better resolution camera. HP ProPad 600 features a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

The HP ProPad 600 has superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 8380mAh of battery capacity instead of 7000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HP ProPad 600, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HP ProPad 600. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy HP ProPad 600, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
