The Acer Iconia One 8 has an overall score of 53.7, which is just a bit better than HP Slate 8 Pro's general score of 50. The Acer Iconia One 8 is a a little thinner and way lighter tablet than HP Slate 8 Pro. These devices use Android operating system, but the Acer Iconia One 8 has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version and HP Slate 8 Pro has Android 4.2.
The HP Slate 8 Pro has a little better hardware performance than Acer Iconia One 8. They have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM. The HP Slate 8 Pro has a more vivid display than Acer Iconia One 8, and although they both have a same size screen, the HP Slate 8 Pro also has a higher pixel density and a higher 1200 x 1600px resolution.
