Comparison review

OSCAL Pad 13 is better than HP Slate 8 Pro, with a score of 57.3 against 50. The OSCAL Pad 13 is a just a little bit lighter and incredibly thinner tablet than the HP Slate 8 Pro. Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but OSCAL Pad 13 has newer 12 version while HP Slate 8 Pro has Android 4.2.

The HP Slate 8 Pro counts with a sharper display than OSCAL Pad 13, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little bit lower 1200 x 1600 resolution, it also counts with a bit greater screen density. OSCAL Pad 13 features a way bigger memory for games and applications than HP Slate 8 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1 TB.

HP Slate 8 Pro has a much better performing processor than OSCAL Pad 13, although it has lesser cores and a smaller amount of RAM. OSCAL Pad 13 features a much better battery performance than HP Slate 8 Pro. OSCAL Pad 13 captures better videos and photos than HP Slate 8 Pro, because it has a back camera with a much better 13 mega pixels resolution.

The OSCAL Pad 13 costs a little more money than the HP Slate 8 Pro, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
