Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is slightly better than HTC EVO View 4G, with a 61.4 score against 56.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a newer and noticeably thinner tablet than the HTC EVO View 4G, but it is noticeably heavier. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a more recent 4.1 version and HTC EVO View 4G has Android 3.2 version.
The HTC EVO View 4G has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a lot lower 600 x 1024 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better pixel density. The HTC EVO View 4G features a bit superior processor than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), although it has an inferior number of cores , they both have the same RAM amount.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a bit better camera than HTC EVO View 4G, although it has a lower 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and a camera in the back with a way lower resolution. The HTC EVO View 4G features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a way better battery performance than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a 7000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC EVO View 4G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC EVO View 4G. If you want to save some money, you can get the HTC EVO View 4G, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
