Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a global score of 66.2, which is better than the HTC EVO View 4G's overall score of 56.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's design is much newer, way lighter and much thinner than HTC EVO View 4G. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while HTC EVO View 4G has Android 3.2, providing the user a couple nice extra features and improved performance.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a more vivid screen than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a quite better display pixels density, a bit bigger display and a higher resolution of 1280 x 800. HTC EVO View 4G features a bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a little better performance than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has an extra graphics co-processor, more cpu cores and more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a bit better camera than HTC EVO View 4G, although it has a worse video resolution and a back camera with way less mega-pixels resolution.
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has an 11% more battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 costs a little more than the HTC EVO View 4G, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
