Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is better than HTC EVO View 4G, getting a score of 64.8 against 56.4. Even when the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and HTC EVO View 4G were released only 5 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is thinner and a lot lighter. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a more recent 4.0.4 version while HTC EVO View 4G has Android 3.2 version, offering some extra features and better performance.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a brighter display than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a just a bit higher amount of pixels per inch in the display, a quite larger screen and a better resolution of 800 x 1280px. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a bit superior CPU than HTC EVO View 4G, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 1 more cpu cores and an additional graphics processor.
The HTC EVO View 4G takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video quality, the HTC EVO View 4G also has a back facing camera with a way higher resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a much better memory capacity for applications and games than HTC EVO View 4G, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with superior battery performance than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC EVO View 4G, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC EVO View 4G. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the HTC EVO View 4G, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
