The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is slightly better than the HTC EVO View 4G, getting a overall score of 58.8 against 56.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE construction is notably thinner but a little bit heavier than HTC EVO View 4G, and they were only released with a couple of months difference. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has the newer 4.0 version and HTC EVO View 4G has Android 3.2 version, so it provides some extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a bit sharper display than HTC EVO View 4G, and although they both have the same display pixel density, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also has a larger display and a better 800 x 1280 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's CPU is very similar to the HTC EVO View 4G one, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also has a larger number of 1500 MHz cores.
HTC EVO View 4G features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video definition, the HTC EVO View 4G also has a much higher 5 mega-pixels resolution back camera. HTC EVO View 4G counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 16 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a very superior battery performance than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a 53 percent bigger battery size.
