Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is just a bit better than the HTC EVO View 4G, with a global score of 57.6 against 56.4. Both tablets in this comparison review work with Android OS, but the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and HTC EVO View 4G has Android 3.2 version, providing a couple additional features. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a much newer device, and it is also thinner and way lighter than the HTC EVO View 4G.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a little better hardware performance than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a bit better looking display than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a much higher pixels count per inch of screen and a little bigger screen.
HTC EVO View 4G has a slightly better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a SD memory slot that allows 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has improved battery duration than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD shoots way better videos and photos than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a way better (Full HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with a way better 8 mega-pixels resolution.
Although Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC EVO View 4G, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC EVO View 4G. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC EVO View 4G, giving up a couple specifications.
