Comparison review
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is a little bit better than the HTC Flyer CDMA, getting a global score of 58.6 against 57.3. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version and HTC Flyer CDMA has Android 2.3.3 version. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is a way newer device, and it's also noticeably thinner and somewhat lighter than HTC Flyer CDMA.
The HTC Flyer CDMA features a little sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it has a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024, a bit smaller display and a just a little worse display density. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a greater performance than HTC Flyer CDMA, because it has a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features much more storage capacity for apps and games than HTC Flyer CDMA, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. HTC Flyer CDMA has a superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
The HTC Flyer CDMA features a much better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the HTC Flyer CDMA also has a camera in the back with a way better resolution.
