These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus has a newer 7.0 Nougat version while HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version, so it gives some additional features and improved performance. The LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus is a much newer tablet, and it's also incredibly lighter and a lot thinner than the HTC Flyer.
