Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is just a bit better than the HTC Flyer, with a 63.4 score against 58.7. Microsoft Surface 2's body is way newer and a lot thinner than HTC Flyer's, although it's also notably heavier. Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, and HTC Flyer counts with Android 3.2 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has just a bit better processing power than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit better screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a much higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a lot larger display and a quite greater pixels density.
The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with just a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than HTC Flyer, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. The HTC Flyer counts with a better camera than Microsoft Surface 2. Both have the same video frame rates, the same 1280x720 video definition and a back facing camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution.
HTC Flyer has a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC Flyer, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC Flyer. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get HTC Flyer, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
