The HTC Flyer design is a lot lighter than the Microsoft Surface RT, but it is notably thicker and was released only 16 months before. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the HTC Flyer, else you can save some money and get the Microsoft Surface RT, letting go a couple specs and features.
