Comparison review
HTC Flyer has a global score of 58.7, which is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface RT's overall score of 58.4. The HTC Flyer design is a lot lighter than the Microsoft Surface RT, but it is notably thicker and was released only 16 months before. HTC Flyer works with Android 3.2 operating system, and Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT operating system.
HTC Flyer features a little more vivid display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a really smaller screen and a way worse 600 x 1024px resolution, it also counts with a bit greater pixels amount per inch in the display. The Microsoft Surface RT has a bit more powerful processing unit than HTC Flyer, because it has a larger number of cores , a much better 520 MHz GPU and a greater amount of RAM.
HTC Flyer features a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the HTC Flyer also has a way better resolution camera in the back. The Microsoft Surface RT counts with a slightly better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC Flyer, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage.
The HTC Flyer counts with a way better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface RT.
Although HTC Flyer is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the HTC Flyer, else you can save some money and get the Microsoft Surface RT, letting go a couple specs and features.
