The HTC Flyer has a general score of 58.7, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V's global score of 58.5. HTC Flyer is a much thicker and heavier tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the HTC Flyer has the older 3.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4 version.

The HTC Flyer counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory and a Single-Core processing unit, the HTC Flyer also has an extra graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V features a little sharper display than HTC Flyer. Both have a same size display, the same pixels density and exactly the same 1024 x 600 resolution.

HTC Flyer counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits up to 32 GB, the HTC Flyer also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.
