The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a bit better than HTC Flyer, getting a global score of 60.1 against 58.7. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's construction is way newer, notably lighter and much thinner than HTC Flyer. Both tablets we are comparing here work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 5.0 version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version, giving some additional features and performance optimizations.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a bit better looking display than HTC Flyer, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a little bigger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1024 x 768px. HTC Flyer has a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 1 cores, the HTC Flyer also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.

HTC Flyer has slightly more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. HTC Flyer captures much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. They have the same resolution back camera, the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video resolution.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than HTC Flyer, because it has a 5 percent bigger battery size.
