The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is better than HTC Flyer, having a 65.7 score against 58.7. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) design is newer, much thinner and lighter than the HTC Flyer. Both of these tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a newer 9.0 Pie version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version.

HTC Flyer features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), although it has a lot worse 600 x 1024px resolution, a little smaller screen and a little less pixels per display inch. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) features a bit more powerful processing unit than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and more CPU cores.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) takes way better photographs and videos than HTC Flyer, because it has a camera in the back with a way better resolution and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
