The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is a way newer tablet device, and it's also way thinner and somewhat lighter than the HTC Flyer. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has a newer 11 version while HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version, offering a couple nice extra features.
HTC Flyer counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), although it has a lot worse 600 x 1024 resolution, a little bit smaller screen and a just a bit worse pixels quantity in each inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) takes a little bit better videos and photos than HTC Flyer, because it has a way better 1920x1080 video definition and a much more megapixels camera in the back.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) counts with longer battery life than HTC Flyer, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
