Galaxy Tab Active has an overall score of 67, which is much better than HTC Flyer's 58.7 overall score. Galaxy Tab Active's body is newer, thinner and a bit lighter than the HTC Flyer. Both devices in this comparison include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Active has a more recent 4.4 version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version, giving you some additional features and increased performance.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a sharper screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a better resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a bit bigger display and a just a little greater display density. The Galaxy Tab Active has a bit better hardware performance than HTC Flyer, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory, a better GPU working at 450 megahertz and more processing cores.

The HTC Flyer has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the HTC Flyer also has a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution camera in the back. HTC Flyer features a better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports 32 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory.

Galaxy Tab Active features a bit superior battery life than HTC Flyer, because it has an 11 percent more battery size.

The Galaxy Tab Active costs a lot more than HTC Flyer, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
