Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a general score of 64.9, which is better than the HTC Flyer's 58.7 global score. Galaxy Tab E 8.0's construction is newer, extremely thinner and somewhat lighter than HTC Flyer. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with just a bit better performance than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (but slower) and a greater amount of RAM memory. HTC Flyer has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch of display, a lot lower 600 x 1024 resolution and a little bit smaller display.
The HTC Flyer features a little bit more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 shoots much better pictures and videos than HTC Flyer. Both have the same video frame rate, the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a 5 mega pixels resolution back camera.
Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has superior battery performance than HTC Flyer, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
