Xperia Tablet Z is much better than the HTC Flyer, with a general score of 68.5 against 58.7. Xperia Tablet Z's body is newer and incredibly thinner, but heavier than HTC Flyer. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Xperia Tablet Z has 4.4.4 version and HTC Flyer has Android 3.2, providing the user a couple additional features and performance enhancements.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a little better hardware performance than HTC Flyer, because it has a greater amount of RAM, more 1500 megahertz CPU cores and a much better 400 MHz graphics processing unit. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a much better screen than HTC Flyer, because it has a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution, a better screen pixels density and a lot bigger screen.
The Xperia Tablet Z features slightly more memory capacity for games and applications than HTC Flyer, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia Tablet Z also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a much better battery duration than HTC Flyer, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
The HTC Flyer captures clearer photographs and videos than Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a way less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a lot worse 1280x720 video quality.
Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC Flyer, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC Flyer. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia Tablet Z, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the HTC Flyer, letting go a couple features and specifications.
