The HTC Jetstream has an overall score of 63.6, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7's 60.5 global score. Although it's the best tablet we are comparing here, we must note that it's also a much older, incredibly heavier and noticeably thicker tablet. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but HTC Jetstream has 3.1 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
HTC Jetstream features a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional GPU. HTC Jetstream has a better screen than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a just a little greater pixel quantity per inch of display, a quite better 768 x 1280 resolution and a quite bigger display.
The HTC Jetstream features a little bit better memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a SD card slot that supports 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. The HTC Jetstream has greater battery life than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity.
The HTC Jetstream shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a lot better 8 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and a much higher 1920x1080 video resolution.
Although HTC Jetstream is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab A 9.7. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the HTC Jetstream, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, giving up some features and specs.
